Tshaghkadzor is a modern resort city in Armenia, offering services equal to international standards, with relatively low prices.
For many centuries this area fascinated everybody with its mild and warm climate. This is a perfect place for having a great time for all the people.
Today, Tsaghkadzor is an internationally recognized ski resort. The main Olympic Sports Center of USSR was built here in 1968. The reason was that the Olympic games of 1968 were to be held in Mexico, and geographically both Tsaghkadzor and Mexico City are located almost at the same level.
As a ski resort Tsaghkadzor became famous after the ropeway was build. Nowadays the city is developing day by day, the old houses and rest houses are being repaired, and many new modern high class complexes are being built, and because of all this the winter sports are becoming more active. The Tsaghkadzor - Zvartnots airport highway is in a perfect condition.
As a ski resort, Tsaghkadzor took part in an international exhibition SKI-EXPO in Moscow. Besides Tsaghkadzor has established strong relationship with well-known international ski resorts like Font Romeu in France and Verbier in Switzerland.
