First Pan-Armenian Winter Games


Pan-Armenian Games held since 1999. The purpose of games is combining Armenians from different countries through sport.

Pan-Armenian first winter games started in alpine resort Tsakhadzor in 24 February, which was attended by President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, President of the Armenian Olympic Committee Gagik Tsarukyan, Mayor Ереван Taron Margaryan and others.


Winter Pan-Armenian Games are conduct for the first time. In these will involve 400 athletes from 11 countries. Program includes 4 sports:  downhill skiing, ski races, ice hockey and snowboarding. During the competition will be awarded 39 medals and cup. Organizers assured that snow Pan-Armenian Games will become traditional and will be held every year.

Tsaghkadzor is at the center of events.
